Farmington Youth Hockey + RaiseRight 

Save on your ice bill just by shopping where you already shop.

Farmington Youth Hockey Association has partnered with RaiseRight (formerly ShopWithScrip) so families can earn money toward their ice bills every season by using gift cards for everyday purchases.

Note: ShopWithScrip has rebranded to RaiseRight. You’ll see the RaiseRight name and logo on the website and app, but the program works the same way.

What Is It & How Does It Work?

• You purchase gift cards (physical, eGift, or reloadable) at face value through RaiseRight:
• Online at the RaiseRight (formerly ShopWithScrip) website
• In the RaiseRight mobile app
• Every time you buy or use these gift cards, you earn a rebate (typically 2%–16%) based on what you spend.
• Your rebates are then applied toward your next ice bill (see the "How Does the Money Get to My Ice Bill?" section for details).
• You use the gift cards for your everyday shopping—groceries, gas, clothes, restaurants, home improvement, and more.
• For details on timing and how you receive cards, see the "Physical Gift Cards" and "eGift & Reloadable Cards" sections below, especially the notes about physical card delivery.

Example: 

Spend $300 in a month on groceries, gas, and restaurants with RaiseRight gift cards at 5% back → you earn $15 toward your ice bill without spending anything extra.

How Do I Sign Up?

1. Email scrip@farmhockey.org to request the FYHA Enrollment Code. 

2. Go to the RaiseRight/ShopWithScrip website and click “Join a Program.”

3. Enter the FYHA Enrollment Code you received. 

4. Set up your family account. 

5. Link your bank account to enable secure online payments. 

6. Place your first order for gift cards and start earning.

How Does the Money Get to My Ice Bill? 

• Your rebates accumulate in your RaiseRight/Scrip account as you shop.
• Once you've earned more than $50 in rebates:
• The Scrip/RaiseRight Coordinator will notify your Team Finance Manager and deposit your rebate into your team account (up to $350).
• Your Team Finance Manager will let you know how much was applied toward your player's ice bill. You are still responsible for any remaining balance.
• If you need more than the amount already deposited, and you have enough funds available in your Scrip/RaiseRight account, email scrip@farmhockey.org to request an additional transfer toward your ice bill.
• In February, you may request a transfer to use what you’ve earned for that season.
• Any unused funds:
• Roll over to the next season (including offseason).
• Are never lost as long as you’re with FYHA.
• If you leave FYHA or move up to High School:
• Remaining funds must be used for hockey-related items (skates, sticks, gear, etc.) or they are forfeited back to FYHA.
• Work with the Scrip/RaiseRight manager to get reimbursed:
• You purchase the hockey item.
• Provide your receipt.
• FYHA reimburses you from your Scrip funds (FYHA does not pay merchants directly).

Where Can I Use the Gift Cards?

 RaiseRight (formerly ShopWithScrip) works with over 750 brands, including favorites like: 

• Target, Walmart, Amazon, Sam’s Club 
• Speedway, Kwik Trip 
• Home Depot, Lowe’s, Menard’s, Ace Hardware 
• Buffalo Wild Wings, Chipotle, Subway, Red Robin 
• Apple App Store 
• CVS, Walgreens 
• Great Clips 
• …and many more

Physical Gift Cards:

• If you order physical gift cards, they are shipped to the FYHA coordinator.
• FYHA places physical card orders on the 1st of every month.
• The coordinator will arrange pickup with you once cards arrive. 
• Please plan ahead if you need physical cards by a certain date.

eGift & Reloadable Cards (Recommended):

• Available instantly or very quickly through the RaiseRight app/website.
• Perfect for everyday or last-minute purchases:
• At the store, buy or reload a gift card in the RaiseRight app/website.
• Pay for your purchase with that gift card.
• Earn your rebate on the spot toward your ice bill.
